Albion 'Til I Die 2

West Bromwich Albion promoted the launch of Albion ‘Til I Die 2 during Saturday match with Preston North End – a double page spread of photos from the first book, plus a request for new stories, appeared in the match programme and the electric scoreboard echoed the message.

Allison Tripney, the Albion Foundation's education and learning manager, said: "It's amazing the stories you hear about life as an Albion fan, stories that make you laugh, make you think and some you can even shed a tear to. ‘Albion 'Til I Die 2' is the perfect opportunity to get those stories out and about. This is a tremendous opportunity for all supporters to get involved in the printed history of West Bromwich Albion Football Club."

The Albion Foundation are also running 'open house' sessions at locations throughout Sandwell to ensure fans don't miss out on getting involved, and the Albion Foundation's headquarters, at the Tom Silk Building, Halfords Lane, will be open for supporters to visit before the Coventry and Leicester matches. Following the success of the 'Albion 'Til I Die' book in 2006, the Albion Foundation, in partnership with the National Literacy Trust and Legends Publishing, have decided to produce a sequel - and they need YOUR help.

They want supporters to come forward who are 'Albion 'Til They Die', know the feelings of excitement, exhilaration and elation that being a Baggie can evoke - not to mention despair, desperation and disappointment!

We want to hear from all fans who have a story to tell about why they became an Albion follower and the lengths they have gone to support their beloved Baggies. Maybe you've had to choose between the stars in stripes and somebody's wedding? Do the Albion always come first in your life? Have you got any pre-match rituals you always follow? How did they come about? Be a proud Baggie and get your story in print!

Forest 'Til I Die – Fans Are Coming Up Trumps!

Nottingham Forest fans are certainly coming up trumps as the production of Forest ‘Til I Die reaches an exciting stage. There is still plenty of time to contribute your stories, but the book is filling up fast thanks to a superb response from the fans and some truly outstanding memories. Stories have been written covering every era in the club’s history and some wonderful person photos have been supplied. Story telling sessions were held at the City Ground on 10 March, where the Senior Reds shared some golden memories. Norwich City Story Gathering Starts

Norwich City are the latest club to sign up for a ‘Til I Die’ book – the club will launch the project at The Canaries’ home match with Brighton & Hove Albion. Fans of every age and era are invited to contribute.

England Book Project Started In Kazakhstan

The trip to Kazakhstan was rewarding in many ways – not least because the remote fixture saw England edge closer to World Cup qualification. How this fixture could be held under the heading ‘European Qualification Group’ is quite staggering, however, many fans used their imaginations to make it to Almaty, some even driving all the way from London – a trip that took over a month! The England Til I Die project also kicked off under the Kazak floodlights, leaflets explaining the book’s concept, along with an open invitation to contribute, were handed out to supporters. Hopefully many will have used the long flight home to reflect on their time following the three lions and some cracking stories will be sent in the weeks the months ahead.

Portsmouth Football Club are the latest Premiership side to join the ever-growing production list at Legends – Pompey Til I Die is due for publication near the start of the 2009-10 season and the memory gathering process is well under way. Dozens of excellent stories have already been submitted, spanning every era of the club’s history. Story sessions will be held over the summer, (full details being announced on the official club website), however, if you have a Pompey story to tell make sure you contribute ASAP. Bristol City - Stories Galore

City 'Til I Die goes to print this week featuring an amazing selection of tales from Robins fans. We were impressed by the quality and quantity of the contributions and had to make some very difficult decisions as to which stories finally made the book. We were inundated with e-mails and letters in the two days before deadline, many of which simply arrived too late to be considered. We will try and publish all the stories that didn't make the book on this website in the next few weeks. Thanks to all those City fans who took part and took the time to send your stories in. Details regarding the book launch will appear on this website shortly. The book will go on general sale ahead of Bristol Cities home match with Preston North End on Saturday 4 April 2009.

Tottenham 'Til I Die story gathering starts

The story gathering process has started ahead of production of the 'Tottenham 'Til I Die' book, which is due for release this summer. Story-telling sessions at the White Hart Lane Learning Zone as well as at local schools and libraries are taking place and leaflets to encourage contributions will be distributed to fans before the Youth FA Cup match against Arsenal on Thursday evening. The official website will again run a story about the book project and all supporters groups and websites will be approached to take part in this exciting new book. Fans have already responded well and some fantastic stories have been sent in already, so make sure your memories are included and that you contribute too.

Ipswich 'Til I Die Book Launch

Ipswich 'Til I Die book launch takes place on Wednesday 11th February at the Town Hall. The town's mayor will be hosting the event, which will see many of the contributors come together to celebrate their stories appearing in the new book. Fans will be able to buy Ipswich 'Til I Die from Saturday 14th February from the ITFC club shop [at the stadium, town centre and online] plus from sellers around Portman Road on match-days.

Bristol City Production Starts

The story gathering process is under way for Bristol City's new book. Leaflets were distributed before The Robins' home match with Swansea City, and there will be further requests for contributions in the match-day programmes leading up to Xmas as well as on the team's official and unofficial websites. Not only are we donating 600 copies free to local schools, the football club and supporters trust are using all profits from the book to help fund a statue for City legend, John Ayteo. Derby 'Til I Die Launch

Derby 'Til I Die was launched at Pride Park on Friday December 5th. Derby County President, Tom Glick, joined the Lady Mayor to celebrate the publication of this landmark book. Over 60 guests, including many of the contributors whose stories are featured in Derby 'Til I Die, also witnessed Rockin' Johnny's rendition of his 1960 Rams song as well as readings from fans young and old. The book is now on sale priced just £10.
